Our founding members are a group of 16 European Union citizens of 8 nationalities, women and men, working in private companies, large and small, in NGOs, in trade unions, in the civil service or as independents, or retired:
- Alexandre works as a Belgian civil servant, after working for a trade union.
- Alioune works as a permanent employee for an Italian trade union.
- AnaLi is a Polish national and works in energy consulting in Canada.
- Auda62 is setting up an organic market vegetable farm, after working as a primary school teacher.
- Hermais2708 works in the circular economy in the construction sector.
- Charlie works as an environmental consultant in Greece.
- Christian, an Austrian national, works as an industrial economist in Germany.
- cidadactiva conducts a choir in Portugal, after having taught music in that country and in developing countries.
- Fabrice works as a lawyer in Belgium defending workers' rights in international value chains.
- Katharina is a psychologist in Germany.
- Mafalda works as a social scientist researching consumer behaviour.
- Mélodie Grenier coordinates a network of organic farmers in France.
- Philochard works as an engineer in the electric car industry.
- Sa Mère Ubu is setting up a local, sustainable micro-tourism business, having previously worked as a journalist.
- Scilovema works as a free software computer scientist.
- Sergio Arbarviro works as a circular economy consultant after having worked as an advocacy officer in a trade union.
Their common conviction: a radically just, sustainable, democratic and happy society is possible in the 21st century, in the European Union and in the world, the Society of Agreement. They founded the CosmoPolitical Cooperative to give themselves the means to make it a reality, before 2050, by taking action now, at every level, from the individual to the European Union.
